I strive to provide unconditional positive regard, compassion, understanding, and a safe environment for my clients. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. I also teach parenting classes on raising newborns through young adults.

I am a graduate student from California State University Los Angeles, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude earning a double degree in Marriage, Family & Child Therapy and School Counseling (M.F.T.I., P.P.S., C.W.A.). In addition to my Masters degree, I also hold a certificate in C.S.U.L.A.'s Project PASS Autism Institute headed by Dr. William Frea.

For almost ten years, I have worked as a behavioral therapist with families and children on various behavioral, parenting, trauma, special needs and Autism issues. In addition, I have also taught parenting classes designed to help parents improve their family communication skills, understand normal child growth and development, and learn their role in encouraging their child to develop positive self-esteem.

In addition, I hold a license in school counseling, child welfare and attendance counseling. I have worked in various public and private schools and through my experience I can provide a strong background for working with individuals and families on various challenges they might face during their children's school age years.

I incorporate life experience into my practice. I am a wife, mother of twin identical boys, and one very precious daughter.

I am a registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, Licensed Personnel Pupil Services Counselor (P.P.S.), Child Welfare and Attendance Counselor (C.W.A.), Project PASS Autism Institute certified, and a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
